An eye for proportion. A plan shaped together. We explore the details of your face with you, so every proposed change has a considered place in the whole.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

An eye for detail.
A sense of the whole.

A small change can alter the balance of a face. At Muse, we consider features in relation to one another, including how they look in profile and in expression. Your own character is part of the design.

With your consent, we can photograph your face and sketch on a printed image, then talk through the ideas together in the mirror. This gives us something clear to discuss: the details you would like to explore, the features you want to preserve and how much change feels right to you.

We bring that visual plan together with a clinical assessment before recommending care. Sketches help us communicate an idea; they do not predict or guarantee a treatment result.

SERVICES

Explore your options.

Explore facial planning, pigmentation care, REJURAN and PRP / PRF services. A clinical assessment determines which options, if any, are appropriate for you.

01

Facial aesthetic planning

A face-to-face assessment of proportion and expression. We use photo annotation and mirror discussion where appropriate to work through a proposed direction with you before making clinical recommendations.

02

Pigmentation & skin quality

Pigmentation is a focus of our skin consultations. We discuss when the marks appeared, your skin history and previous care, then plan appropriate management and sun protection. New or changing spots may need medical assessment before cosmetic treatment.

03

REJURAN® · Skin booster

A consultation about REJURAN, an injectable polynucleotide product used in skin-focused care. We assess your concern and explain the proposed formulation, treatment area and recovery. Possible risks include pain, swelling, bruising, infection and allergic reactions.

04

PRP for skin

PRP uses a platelet-rich preparation from your own blood. We assess facial and under-eye skin concerns, discuss the treatment area and plan follow-up around your skin response.

05

PRF gel / biofiller

PRF gel is prepared from your own blood and processed into a gel-like material. It is an option to discuss for local facial volume concerns when you prefer an autologous material.

06

Scalp PRP / PRF

A scalp consultation looks at your pattern of hair thinning and its possible causes. We discuss PRP and liquid PRF options, with a plan for assessing hair density over time.

07

PDO thread consultation

Discuss the type of threads proposed, the area involved and the limits of the procedure. We discuss suitability, possible complications and recovery before agreeing on a treatment plan.

Procedures involving blood collection or injections carry risks, including pain, bruising and infection. Your consultation covers the relevant risks, recovery, alternatives and costs, including the option of no treatment.

PRP / PRF EXPLAINED

Your blood.
Different preparations.

Both are prepared from a small blood sample using a centrifuge. The difference is how the sample is processed and the form in which the platelets are collected.

PRP

PLATELET-RICH PLASMA

Schematic PRP preparation: plasma, buffy coat and red blood cellsPlasma for PRPBuffy coatRed blood cells

PRP is platelet-rich plasma collected from your own blood after centrifugation. The process separates plasma from red cells and concentrates platelets, which contain growth factors involved in tissue repair.

PRF gel

AUTOLOGOUS GEL / BIOFILLER

PRF gel requires processing after blood separation; it is not a ready-made layer in a centrifuged tube.Further processingSeparated bloodPRF gel

PRF gel is a gel-like preparation derived from your own blood. In albumin-PRF methods, part of the plasma is heated into an albumin gel, cooled and combined with liquid PRF. Its gel consistency differs from liquid PRP.

Preparation diagrams are illustrative. The method used depends on the selected system.

YOUR QUESTIONS

A little more detail.

What are they used for?

PRP is used in consultations for facial skin texture and certain types of hair thinning, particularly pattern hair loss. PRF gel is considered for local facial volume concerns. Liquid PRF used in skin or scalp care is a different preparation from PRF gel.

What makes PRF gel different?

It combines an origin in your own blood with a gel-like consistency. In albumin-PRF, processed albumin contributes to the gel structure alongside PRF. These material properties help explain its use in local volume applications.

What changes are assessed?

For skin, we review texture and appearance; for scalp care, hair density; and for PRF gel, local contour and volume. Evidence for facial PRP and PRF gel remains limited, and results and duration vary.

What happens at an appointment?

Consultation and assessment are followed by blood collection, preparation and treatment of the agreed area. We explain the proposed method and aftercare before starting.

How are sessions and reviews planned?

The plan depends on the treatment area and your response. At consultation, we agree on session spacing and review points, then use follow-up assessments to decide whether further treatment is appropriate.

Risks, recovery and preparation

Bruising, swelling and tenderness can occur. Other risks include infection, lumps and, with facial injections, vascular complications. Recovery depends on the area and technique. Tell us about your medical history and medicines; do not stop prescribed medicines without your prescriber’s advice.
